Walks along a river...
Her majesty flows along,
Through the hills where gods belong!
Forming linns and streams alike,
The river calls for vibrant hikes.
Through the woods and their life eternal,
She marches on - it's her home maternal -
As a brook, as a rush, as a sentient shrine;
She knows every nook - they're her own design!
Washing the roots of the elderly groves,
Feeding life into mortal droves,
Caressing the pristine sprouts with care,
Cleansing all with love and flair!
They call her Danube, they call her Ganga,
They call her Kaveri, Inn, or Tunga.
She's all the same, the essence of life,
Clear as crystal, turquoise rife!
Some take a dip and some take a sip,
I walk along her in an endless trip.
Serene and regal, she casts a spell,
With her rippling calm, on thoughts I dwell.
She cares for me like she cares for the whole,
Filling me with purpose on a casual stroll.
Her poise it is, that offers a thrill,
Bestowing on me, a mighty will!
This is a journey for every day,
Of hope, of content, and of noble way!
The river is immense and immortal too,
My quest shall follow her through and through!
