An attempt at Kannada Translation of Robert Frost's poem Fire and Ice:
ಉರಿ - ಕುಳಿರು
ಇಳೆಯಳಿವುದುರಿಯಿಂದಲೆನ್ನುವರು ಕೆಲರು
ಕುಳಿರಿನಿಂದಳಿವೆಂದು ಸಾಧಿಪರು ಕೆಲರು
ಅಳಿಪು ಲಾಲಸೆಗಳನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡಿರುವೆ
ಅಳಿವಿಗುರಿಯೇ ಮೂಲವೆಂಬರೊಡನಿರುವೆ
ಇಳೆಯು ತಾನಿನ್ನೊಮ್ಮೆ ಮುಳುಗಲನುವಿರಲು
ಕುಳಿರಿನಂದದ ಹಗೆಯ ತಿಳಿವು ನನಗಿಹುದು
ಚಳಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅಳರಿ ಹೋಗುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯ
ಮುಳುವಾಗುವಷ್ಟಿರಲು ಹಿಮದ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯ

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
